SCA’s dance classes place a strong emphasis on proper technique and terminology to help students develop into strong, knowledgeable dancers. Each student is encouraged to learn new steps while emphasizing correct body placement as well as timing prior to moving to more advanced steps. In class, students work hard in a relaxed and supportive environment while improving their dancing. For more information, please request a copy of SCA Dance policies at the time of registration.

• Admittance into classes other than Intro to Movement and Creative Movement is by the Instructor’s permission only.
• Returning dance students may register for any class listed on their recommendation letter.
• New students should contact Rachel Neilson at (440) 337-1400 to schedule a placement screening.
• Students wishing to perform in SCA’s Spring Dance Concert MUST enroll in a SCA Ballet class.
• SCA’s Dance Recital and Dress rehearsal will be take place on the weekend of June 8, 2007.
• All classes will be taught by Rachel Neilson.
